Incredible Alex from Scotland and his sensational band - that's it. Alex had wonderful charismatic persona and unbelievable imagination. Skiffle , blues, rock 'n' roll, glam rock, theatre, comic strips, movies, pirates, main stream hits etc. - all mixed together in one soup. If you listen just one or two of their songs, it's impossible to understand what it's all about, 'cos songs are so different. But the most important thing to remember is that this was mainly a stage band.

There is rather many live sessions here, but I wanted to upload some of his studio recordings, not best sellers, but fine examples.

I hope owners of the rights want to see this as an honor to these fine artists.

And same goes to these random photos, which I have found from net.

My hope is that everyone can just listen to these great musicians. Enjoy!

It's so nice, that you can still buy these recordings for example on CD, mine is an old vinyl album!

Jethro Tull occult fan (man they sucked). S.A.H.B. were the missing link between glam and punk and from 73-75 ripped it up. Still Americans taste in music was never to hot Styx,Foghat,Boston etc. Jethro Tull how on earth did they pull that one off? I would like to have seen you flipping Alex the bird in Glasgow Barrowlands.

Without question, one of the worst groups I had the misfortune of seeing live. I think they were fronting Jethro Tull. I flipped em off with both hands before they were done.

A very well named band. They were indeed SENSATIONAL! I loved them at the time and still do. One big regret in my life is that I never saw them live (except on TV).

Saw them in Baton Rouge L.A. late 70's Locals thought they were the bomb. The showmen of their time. Never to be surpassed. Could have been played in a film by Bon Scott and vice versa. Alas never to be for either. :-(

Same here Billy. First saw them supporting Slade at Sheffield Town Hall same year. Never went to see Slade again but saw SAHB a few more times after that. Class

Alex took back the Rock and Roll Scotland gave to the American South and stuck RLS and ACD stortytelling on top. I'm delighted I saw them live. But devastated it was only once.
