I read that Tom Springfield, who I think wrote this song, was into writing music that reflected various cultures. This one seems to have an Asian feel, so that may be why it sounds so unusua to usl. Of course, as others have mentioned, Judith nails it!

Wonderful, but then wouldn,t everything that Judith Durham sings be anything less than perfect?!! Absolutely without any contest, Judith has probably the best voice on the planet and the nicest personality. Thanks Judith for over 40 years of magic.
