That second drummer was Buddy Rich, he was absolutely phenomenal.This movie has a deep message about jeopardizing art education and this little montage does a brilliant job of hitting home that point. Music touches a lot of people on different levels even if they don't think it does.

Actually, the first one is Art Blakey, not Max Roach. If you are looking for drummers to listen to, though, you can't go wrong with Max Roach.
