I discovered the Doctors last spring while checking out Steve Earl songs on YouTube. I can't tell you about the impact there songs have made on me. Call me a late bloomer, call me a yank, call me what you will. Just remember that there are two types of music, good and bad. This is good music and anyone who thinks differently has shit tween there ears. Dr.s, please come to the Hudson Valley of NY on you next N. Am. Tour.

One of my favourite bands of all time. I always associate their music with the backpacker (travelling) generation from Ireland. It was our music but with universal themes and we sang them - loud and proud. I look forward to meeting ye on Clare Island (not literally, of course!)....

Listened to this version many, many times sitting in Burkes Bar, Clonbur after a days fishing on the Corrib. After spending hours on the lake with that fresh west wind blowing all day, sitting at the bar with a pint of the black stuff listening to this doesnt get any better. Its plain to see where the lads get their inspiration from, it eminates from the land. What a place and what a song. Up Mayo!
