As a canadian, we have been used to only having the token "rock star" out there, like Neil Young and such (dont get me wrong, love old Neil) . But we are leading the indie scene these days, bands like Arcade Fire, Metric, Mother Mother, Feist, Wolf Parade, the Sadies etc. We got this one, lol

Pretty much ALL Canadian bands are indie...because very few of them can even get on a label here.

Maybe you can also appreciate Grand Island... band from Norway... songs like follow, young wrath, suffer are really good... also has its own thing going on

I'm another who saw these guys opening for Neil Young in Calgary. Now I'm sitting in front of the computer learning their songs on the guitar. Just like when Everest opened for Neil a couple year ago.

Saw Neil in Calgary. I was so excited to see that The Sadies were playing with him. A highly underrated group.

Saw them last night at the Neil Young & Crazy Horse concert in Vancouver. Wow! Was i ever impressed! This is a very talented and creative group. I will certainly buy their music and see them again if I ever have the opportunity.

#retroamericana

whoa, they have two pairs of guitarists that look exactly the same with the only difference being one plays righty and the other is a lefty.
