This is a rare segment from the obscure 1970 "LET IT RUT" documentary of a collaboration between the Beatles and The Rutles. After completing the "LET IT RUT" album, both bands played simultaneous rooftop concerts, across the street from each other. This clip show both bands performing "Get Back And Go"

The movie has long been out of print, and only briefly saw release as a Betamax video in the early '80s. The resulting album, "LET IT RUT", also quickly went out of print.

DISCLAIMER: YEP FOLKS, THIS IS A PARODY! IF I DON'T PUT A DISCLAIMER HER, I'LL HAVE SEVERAL DUMBASSES THAT WILL COMMENT THAT IT IS FAKE! DUH!

Lennon told Eric Idle, that he was in the edge of a legal problem because Paul could get unger caused by this musical joke.Lennon got that sense of humor.

On a breezy afternoon in London, England - January of 1969 - two British supergroups jammed together at the same time, albeit from seperate locations across town, and gave the musical world a legend that will last a lunchtime.

Couldn't he just get Peter Serafinowicz and Matt Berry in as reserves (for the 'Ringo Remembers' sketches on the Peter Serafinowicz Show)?

gotta' admit the rutles, to their credit, hold their own against the original....same key, but how come the beat is so exact in the mix....did the rutles play along to the original beatles' soundtrack? very interesting......

The part where you reversed the end of A Day in the Life sounds like "I will not eat any Supermen"

I heard the Beatles hoped they would be arrested and felt it would be a good ending to the movie, but the bobbies didn't oblige. The Rutles changed it so in effect it was.

It might just be my eyesight, but isn't the guy on the roof at 2:05 none other than legendary Rutles manager Leggy Mountbatten? There's a whole new conspiracy theory waiting to happen...

@raccoonfan I don't think anybody was arrested. The police just came, wagged their fingers at the group and turned their amps off. LOL Paul was pissed. Would have made a better ending with batons swinging.
