Not sad about Lou Reed's passing. It's amazing that a man who did as many hard drugs as he did lasted into his 70s. A long and well lived life. Now, Sandy West's passing, that still gets me down. Sandy's post-Runaways story was tragic and preventable. If only more reliable people been involved in the band's management. Fowley was inspired, sure, but not up to the task of responsibly "directing" a group of diverse, tough, talented teenage girls, who should have taken over the world. RIP Sandy.
