Man, the media really let them fall into obscurity. Through-out the 80's you'd constantly hear Kiss and other 70's bands playing on rock stations. Never once heard this song. I knew of Joan Jett, because she did her own thing in the 80's. But, didn't know she was in a band prior. Sad. They did some good shit, but the media world just let them fade away. Even Joan Jett is ignored. Her Crimson & Clover and I Love Rock-n-Roll were played when they came out, but they fell into obscurity pretty fast. I never hear them on rock stations anymore: classic rock, or even Jack FM (which cycles through all pop music from past to present). It's like being a female rocker makes you a leper in the entertainment industry. Joan Jett rocks her fucking ass off, and she's still rocking today. But, ... don't really hear about her.

ルーつっすあ？拙者の場合、由紀さおりです。夜明けのスキャットを4歳の時、初めて聴きました。お寺に向かう軽トラックのラジオで聴きました。オヤジが運転していて、目的地についたときはエンジンごと「ぶちっ」と切っていまい、拙者は「この人は音楽が、わからない人なんだな？」と思った記憶があります。それ以前は、ブルーライト横浜が史上最強の名曲だと信じていました。拙者、三歳の頃です。白黒テレビに（黒黒てれび？）いしだあゆみさんが映ると、テレビの後ろに探しに行った記憶があります。当時は歌謡曲が全てでした。少し大きくなるとベートーベンが好きになり、田園交響曲とかを大音量で聴いていました。当時のヨーロッパ音楽って（特に交響曲）あの時代のロックだと思うんですね。今のブリティッシュロックのルーツは既に14世紀から存在してたって思うんで下衆ね。お兄ちゃんになってから、ハードロックに出会いました。物凄い衝撃でした。あの歪んだギターを聴いたとき一発でやられました。小説で言うと「青春デンデケデケデケ」ですね、もろ、あの衝撃でした。当時はハードロックとういう、言葉も観念もジャンルも、知らなかったんです。離島のクソ田舎（インカ帝国）で育ったので、情報からは隔離されていたような状況でした。でもその中から知り得たロックの情報はとても貴重だったので大切にしていました。拙者は当初、フォークが好きで（今でもすきです）フォークギターを弾いていたんですが、小学校6年生の頃、小2の弟の友達が「お兄ちゃんのレコード」を勝手に持ち出して、我が家に持ってきました。そのレコードを聴いたときから、あの衝撃が未だに忘れられず、いまに至っています。そのやうなもんです。古いですね（笑）
