So different, refreshing and great. I hope this band persists for many, many years. They have unique talent, particularly the lead singers voice.I heard them for first time a week ago while drifting off to sleep while camping. It had a vaguely familiar sound and I couldn't pick the era, artist or genre. I was thinking country/blues/rock/ Jack White, Elvis Costello? Mick Taylor covering Blind Willie McTell? It would be interesting to see which bands inspired the Rubens the most.Whatever their inspiration they have a refreshing repertoire.10 years ago
