"Stony Canyon"??!!?? I'm not certain, but with the line "wish I were out in California", then repeated in the next verse with "Ston_ Canyon", I'm thinking Mick stayed in Bel Air in Los Angeles somewhere up in the canyon. Lot of rockers lived there during the early 70's once they started making some serious cash. It was either that or he stayed at a private residence in Stone Canyon or at Hotel Bel Air which is in Stone Canyon. Beautiful song in any event. Mick Taylor....you are simply amazing!
