i remember the inner sleeve photos of this LP showing Keith and Mick in the studio gathered around a mic w/Keith drinking from a pint of bourbon - i always imagined this was the song that they were recording when that photo was taken

My fave years of the Stones are 1968/1974... Mick Taylor gave the band greatness...

It's Mick. Kieth plays the start, but Mick's at the end.

One of my favorite Stones albums. People ask me why I don't like the beatles. I actually do, it's just my childhood memories are of my dad liking the rolling stones. I heard my dad tell my mom later "See, I am cool, I like rock and roll" (he knew it was only rock and roll but he liked it) . At the time I didnt get it. now when I look back, listen to the stones. They fucking had the blues, the fucking soul, they partied, they lived. Cant ask for much more.

Is this Mick Taylor or Keith Richards playing the little solo toward the end there?

Thailand. Small hut. Too many mushrooms. My old walkman screaming this in my ears. "Don't fight it....dont fight it."

shakin' an bakin' an payin' for the flight; too many people on this elevator - now its goin' down. Nice little ditty, go with it. Coulda started a revolution, shoulda started a revolution cause the world needed revolting. Oh, don't fight it? OK, pass that bottle... Keef!
