DOUBLE TUNEs for double album. I have been reading Keith's book "Life". I am in Chapter 8, which talks about moving to France, the Nellcote rental that became their recording studio, and the development of one of their BEST albums, "Exile On Main Street", one of my favorite albums by the band...ENJOY two very diverse tunes, which used what Keith calls "open tuning", a style of playing guitar....

Not a communist party member does not mean not a communist. Many would argue that parties and states were not true to real communism. Angela Davis remains a communist to this day.

From Wikipedia: "Davis is no longer a member of the Communist Party, leaving it to help found the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism, which broke from the Communist Party USA because of the latter's support of the Soviet coup attempt of 1991."

No, Keith is growling away until 0.39 when MT enters the fray, beautifully.

This version of loving cup is almost a perfect cross between the utterly amazing "Drunk Version" bootleg/outtake from '69 and the version that made it onto Exile in '72. The only thing missing is those spectacular D note bends Keith played on the '69 version. Pretty amazing version here. Taylor fills this out wonderfully and then of course Bobby Keyes and Nicky are there making this song the monster it is.

And some, come to find out, Keith won't LET them play. Sway, maybe a time or two, and Time Waits For No One, never. Mick Taylor stuff. Saw them last wednesday in San Jose, only my 10th show, but blessed to have seen then over 8 tours since my first one, in Dertoit in '81. These guys still kick ass live, for anybody wondering. Got to see Fogerty and Bonnie Raitt, along with Mick Taylor, so pretty damn special night. Love SO MANY RS songs, but I tend to tell folks Loving Cup is my favorite.

I don't think so. It sounds like Keith. At about 0:40 Taylor joins in.
