The song is from the 1978 album Some Girls and was composed by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and produced by the Glimmer Twins.

'Miss You' features Mick Jagger on lead vocals, electric guitar and back-up vocals, Keith Richards on electric guitar and back-up vocals, Charlie Watts on drums, Ronnie Wood on electric guitar and back-up vocals, Bill Wyman on bass guitar, Ian "Mac" McLagan on electric piano, Mel Collins on saxophone, Sugar Blue on harp.

The video was directed by filmmaker Michael Lindsay-Hogg, who has directed many other music videos for the band including 'Start Me Up', 'Jumpin' Jack Flash' and 'Fool To Cry'. Lindsay-Hogg has also directed videos for artists such as the Beatles and the Who.
