When I first heard this on the radio from the "Out Of Our Heads" LP previously I had only bought Stones 45s but that was the first Stones LP I bought at age 14 and I quickly bought up all the previous US LPs There was a change coming as previously Rock'n'Roll LPs all too often had one big hit and the rest was filler

Does anyone else notice how much louder the crowd gets when Brian sings ?????

Brian Jones

What if Mick had been kicked from the Rolling Stones for "not being a good singer" (which is true Keith is a way better vocalist) and Keith was lead singer and lead guitarist what would of become of this four man version of the Rolling Stones ? Could Keith of started writing with Brian ? What would of become ??????

No it was on the video and it was why Charlie called I'm alright a Bo Diddley number which it wasn't maybe a slip of the tongue Who Knows!

emi mia thanks for the info I guess maybe we'll never know why Charlie called "I'm Alright" "a Bo Diddley number" I guess I took a bit of trivia too far but I really do appreciate your info and I think Brian would have made the Stones even more than they became if somewhat different His death was a tragedy I can still remember first hearing of it on NY radio

My question was since it was a song credited to all five Stones under Nanker Phelge why does Charlie say "We're gonna do a Bo Diddley number" Bo Diddley did do a song called "She's Alright" in the 1950s it was a completely different song though.

What I can't understand is that its credited to Nanker Phelge in other 'words all the Stones Bo Diddley did a song called She's alright but it's a completely different song
