Bullshit, man...Keith is being Keith, as usual. He may well not make it through a long tour but Mick has gone on the record as saying that he'd prefer the band actually not do one anyway. After a while, it gets boring and you need to keep it fresh.11 years ago

I've listened to others talk about John Lennon and they would be the first to tell you how full of shit HE could be. Keith even went so far as to say that most of it was bluff. The Stones came from a more pure blues background than the Beatles. No way in hell you can convince me that the Beatles ever came up with anything along the lines of "Brown Sugar", "Street Fighting Man", or "Midnight Rambler".11 years ago

Which isn't too say that there was that much animosity between the two camps. Both of them came up in a lot of the same crappy clubs and there was actually a lot of contact between them. Both of them would time their respective releases to make sure that they wouldn't be stepping on any toes.11 years ago
