i read in the l.a. times that the reason the corporations have dumbed down the music is that through their endless market research they found out that the biggest consumers of today's music are 12 and 13 year olds. what they fail to realize is that anybody over the age of 12 is not willing to be force fed this mindless drivel!!

That's so completely true. The scumbag corporations have raped music and true artists. And dumbed it down for the masses, stripped music of any quality or instrumentation. Not to mention the messages the shit music of today puts out compared to the messages passed through the classics.

it doesn't surprise me how little people appreciate music these days, they're not exposed to it.have you listened to the garbage on the radio that passes for music these days? but it's interesting, i'm a guitar teacher and since there's no guitar in pop/rock music these days, i teach my students the old stuff and once they hear it, they love it and start asking what albums they should buy etc. there are 6 mega-companys that now own 94% of all radio.they treat music as a commodity and not art.

voodoo lounge is such an underrated album. easily comparable to their classics in the 70's.

None of the videos for this song on youtube are any good except this one. I'm a huge fan of British Rock and hate to see a good British song-one by the Rolling Stones no less-getting so little 'airplay' shall I say, on youtube. Thanks for supplying youtube with good music, this is one of my favorite stones' songs, it surprises me how little people appreciate good music nowadays.
