Calm down. Let it go brother! You are right. These dudes were so underated. Just take some deep breaths....deep breaths. The critic was probably just a fucked up guy who was mental cause' his dad made him wear a dress until he was 15. I'm just happy I can hear this on youtube cause it costs like 20 bucks to get this on CD!!! lol. It would be cool to hear Motorhead cover some Rod's tunes though! Like maybe "Nothing Going on in the City." Or "Ace in the Hole?" Hail Yeah!!!

This kind of annoys me... no, not the song- that's pretty good. What annoys me is that I remember reading a small review for this album back around '81 or so that said The Rods were basically an American version of "Motorhead"!!! Not even close! Talk about lazy writing, not to mention disrespect for both bands, since the writer obviously didn't pay attention to either.

This is sooo good, saw The Rods open for Iron Maiden, bristol colston hall '82, they were a real top band, cant remember the drummers name but for such a big guy he worked very hard...
