this is all fine and good, but where is the ''Rocky Horror Show'' album? from the original stage play, not the movie. I used to have the vinyl a lonnnnnng time ago, I know it's out there. I've searched YouTube God knows I've tried, I've typed every combination, I've really tried, and all I get is the Movie Sound Track......did you sing along?.....heh heh heh heh...

In the superheroes scene shows us how Brad and Janet were remembering the experiences they had with Frank and the others. And after the castle flew back to space, they're reactions to reality affected them in different ways. (Brad's reaction) He has tried to live the life he was expected to live. Try to find the right wife, Get the Right job, Plan the right future. Like most of the men of his time in the 50's, he believed that, repression and control us justified in the social and corporate ladder in life. Even though Brad has dome everything he was supposed to do, his life has taken an unexpected turn, and nothing he was taught prepared him for this. Polite adults of the 50's did not talk about sexuality, about drugs, about social change, about different lifestyles. So Brad really came to this journey completely ill-prepared. (Janet's reaction) She regrets her actions to some extent, but she will not deny her feelings. Her free and sexual appetite will not be set aside, or ignored, or denied in favor of living a 'decent' life. Janet has been sexualized and she will not refuse these choices. Even though they scare her, even though they go against most of what she was taught about, proper young ladies. So Brad is devastated by his experience, but Janet is empowered by hers.

Great song. Why they did leave it off the movie is puzzling. Also, the music sounds very similar to the Lonley Man theme from the Hulk t.v. show and is ironic that it is called Superheroes and the t.v. show was about one.

I've been to the Rocky Horror Picture Show MANY times and it still bothers that this song is cut every time I go see the show. Taking out this song misses the message of the movie. It's a really haunting powerful song to listen to and I think it deserves to be on screen again.

This song leaves such a pit in your stomach...even though the fandom is built around this supposedly whimsical, naughty experience, in the end, the show's theme seems to be about people who are ultimately lost, and can never figure out how to find themselves. Everyone 'cept Scott has backstabbed, murdered, or abusive to each other to a degree where the real "horror" comes from the fact that they don't even care anymore. If anything, it seems to urge you not to follow this film's ideology. And that cripples the musical's purported impact: it's not a place where you can come as you are and belong, it's a place where your sense of reason and compassion are drowned out within madness. Personally, I think O'Brien should consider, with this already being a cult classic, an experimental re-write of the musical's second act to include Eddie and Rocky interacting with Brad, as well as Magenta and Columbia with Janet, maybe showing their contrasting attitudes on Frank's supposed "toleration" with his hatred of Eddie's chaos.

hmmm.. I caught this on tv the other day and they had cut this whole ending out where they are laying on the ground + this song :( Still wasn't the same, I had to go make some toast and grab a newspaper, but it just was ehh...and rice is so hard to get out of the carpet :p
