This is my cover version of a song made popular in 1995 by Julio Iglesias, under the original Spanish title, "La Carretera". In translation, I have tried to stay as close as possible to the original Spanish lyrics, as written by Ramon Deciria, Garcia Ferro, and Roberto Livi. I hope you enjoy my version.

For those of you who may be technically minded, the music for the track was created on my Yamaha PSR e413 keyboard, utilising an imported midi file which was re-voiced using Cakewalk sequencing software to suit the instrument. The resultant audio was then recorded using CoolEdit ProAudio2 to create a backing track, to which vocal and harmony tracks, were added. What you hear is a mixdown of about five stereo audio tracks.

The video is probably my most ambitious project to date, featuring location shooting from my car on the streets of Liverpool one recent rainy night, and many hours of editing using Sony Vegas. I'm still on a learning curve with this software.

I am so flattered that RNI should think that one of my tracks is worthy of being broadcast, it is such an honour and a privilege, and I would like to thank Garry Stevens, and all the people at RNI for featuring it.
