Richie sings with passion that is contagious. As a Christian he moves me to make faith an action not just a feeling. Richie's work has been a well-spring to my soul.

Truly, a remarkable masterpiece of songwriting. One of my all time favorites and is certainly one of the most beautiful songs ever written and recorded.

I love this song. I don't know how I missed it years ago. He has such a great body of work and he still sounds great to this day.

Too bad this song wasn't more in the mainstream, it would of been a huge hit, bigger than it was then. Thanks for posting!

Richie is a seminal figure in country rock. He's every bit as important as Gram Parsons and Neil. His work in Springfield and Poco laid out the map. Saw him recently and he still has the voice and, wow, what a show he puts on. Did all of Crazy Eyes live, and that ain't easy to do and make sound like the record..but it did!

the jesus movement in the late sixties and early seventies was as counter culture as the rest of america's youth. phil keaggy, paul clark, jay truax and others made it a lot easier to stand apart and live from our hearts. i was blown away to hear one of my country rock heroes making music about his changes. thx to keaggy and clark's band standing behind richie. this album, i've got a reason, took it to a new level. thx richie.
