Original and best version of this song. Released in 1977 and again in 1979 as Fab 1 (Mark 2) following the original break up of the band.

Ok, here's the story. The ReZIllos came into being in 1976. Eugene and Fay fell out with Jo and the band split in 1978. Eugene and Fay formed a new band The ReVIllos in 1979. They continued until 1985 before calling it a day. The ReVillos reformed in 1994 & 1996 for short tours. the ReZillos got back together in 2001 and continue to this day. However, the origin of the name came from a comic book back in 1976 which mentioned a cafe Revilo. Eugene took inspiration from this, so technically it was Revillos first but not as a band!!

Sorry Queen Hater, it certainly is the best version. The re-recording for the album lost a lot of the magic.

The Rezillos did not support Generation X. Gen X were on first. The Rezillos were more well known at that point.

Scotland blew my young punk mind with this song. Believe it's the first punk record from there, originally released on the Sensible label July 1977. The Rezillos were originally an eight piece band formed at Edinburgh Art College in 1977. A stunningly great debut, the song hasn't any power in over 37 years. A tremendous attack and Faye Fife's wonderful delivery. BTW in the first stanza "I'm gonna go radge" means I'm gonna go insane and possibly violent. This single on a good playback system sounds a bit more balanced with better bass, but it's still very trebly which only adds to its awesome power. This bad puppy gets my highest recommendation.

I bet I bought this before Kermit did; fresh from Bruce's on the day of issue! My copy had (s) a slight scratch which I heard on a German radio station when I lent it to a girlfriend. Superb, brilliant and wonderful track!

Love it. I still have my original, but seem to have lost my mispress of the red cover re-release with the wrong b-side.

@devilinthenewman Thanks for the info..and yes I do have their new CD Out of this World. I purchased a load, as I gave some away as presents. This band would wake up the boring artists that appear on that Jools Holland show. Hope the REZILLOS have an album in the near future. I'll have to try and download the No. 1 Boy single on to a disc from this i-tunes, but I'm a bit new to all this techno stuff!

@raymondlang Unfortunately it was only available on download. Their brand new single 'Out of this World' is available on 7" Vinyl, CD and Download. The official video is on my channel now!

Still sounds as fresh now as it did back then. Was their single No. 1 Boy (released a couple of years ago) released on a CD disc, or can you only download it from this i-tunes thingy????
