The Mats actually sound lucid here. Bob being sacked isn't far off at this point in time. You have to wonder what the direction of the Replacements would have taken if Bob had managed to keep it together. I always thought he was a great foil to Westerberg's songwriting.

Best Pop Song of All Time. Saw them in '86 at George Washington University in DC... Then again on the "Pleased to Meet Me" tour, I think... SOO wish I cold see them at Riot Fest! But I don't think Mommy leaving the kids to go to a Riot Fest would look very good during my divorce proceedings!!!
