Shakespeare would write it again upon listening to this masterpiece. (if music be the food of love play on)

It sounded great back in '67 with the 3/4 waltz groove. 12/8 sounds a little cumbersome, but one of my favourite songs :)

Will be seeing them this coming Sunday in Albany. Groups like this are re-introducing themselves to today's generation, who are finding songs with actual lyrics are pretty good.

Correction: Steven Van Zandt (had to get the spelling right) of the Bruce Springsteen team was instumental in getting the Rascals back together after 40 years.

Van Sant was on the Arsenio Hall Show this week talking about them being in Los Angeles this month. So California -- go see them !

Absolutely fantastic, the vocal range is still there, and when Eddie needs to belt it out, it is belted out with force. How do they do it? I could watch and listen to this time and again. Thank you for sharing this with the rest of us.

Gorgeous voice. No autotune necessary. I never knew this was a white group.

ABSOLUTELY. Heard this dozens of times over the 40+ years, always liked it a lot. But to see Eddie sing it like he did back then..and with such heart, soul and emotion...It made me cry like a baby. I hope this comes out as a DVD! One of my best concerts, up there with Pink Floyd and Roger Waters the Wall Live Tours..and the lighting and directing guy...Marc Brickman...did all these shows, and then some.. I'm still on cloud 9 from The Rascals show..Awesome!
