A bit rough, but had the potential to be something nonetheless. Sounds a lot like "New Girl In Town." Maybe that's just me.

Mickey, I loved your book and believe me, I feel for you that you never got the writing recognition that you deserved, and that Joey was so afraid of Johnny (who wouldn't be) God rest his soul...but he was a class A- asshole. Hope you are doing well. btw, I grew up in the town where your lovely brother is buried..I always wondered why that cemetery when you guys were from queens. Thanks man...cheers

appreciate the plug Lola, but you could've told 'em the story. I guess some people wouldn't have believed you (or ZEST123 below- i don't kno who that is, btw), but...I would've believed you! (someone'll probably say I'm lying anyway, haha! who cares.it's just a demo, ya know?) It IS a shame the band, er..Johnny, didn't wanna record it.(I do know the reason why, tho. the answer's in what i wrote above.Better they believe it's John & Dee Dee anyway,so they'll continue to like it.thats what matters)

This was recorded Christmas eve of 1985. Me, Joey, Richie, and Dave U. Hall (bassist in my band The Rattlers@ the time) were at my Mom's house in Queens. Joey had begun writing this song & about 9pm suggested we find a studio & record it. A blizzard was coming on but we found a studio in Flushing & engineer who'd stay & let us finish it. We finished writing the music on the spot. Joey'd had a bit too much holiday cheer so Richie sang it.I played the guitar, Dave played the bass. That's the story

You guys have to read "I slept with Joey Ramone" to get the real inside take on the band..

I think Richie is better than Marky and this album is one of the best.

It was all Johnny. He got along pretty well Joey.

It was about t-shirt money or some shit. Richie said he was a Ramone when they wanted him to be and just a hired hand when they wanted him to be. They go into it in more depth in the documentary 'End of the Century'.

It's a little known fact that the musician playing bass on this track is non other than legendary musician Dave U. Hall, Dave's a child hood personal friend of The Ramones. Today is Dave U.hall's birthday, so, this night like all other nights is a "Party Party Party" If you are so inclined, you may want to wish Dave a happy birthday on Twitter :) @Dave_U_Hall This song rocks and so does Dave U. Hall and The Ramones !!!!
