Well, that is kind of the point. If you knew any history about Jack White and his bands' members, you would know that they are all notorious for that 'roughness' you dislike. It is their iconic style and it is awesome! They go against the status quo of our present day music industry's use of auto-tune, remastering, and touching up songs. True talent: real and raw. There is something so natural and liberating about it. But, you have the right to your own opinion. I am just stating mine.
