@Anophtalmia LXIX I'm pretty sure its just a Shure Bullet Harmonic Mic rehoused in a copper enclosure because jack has used that mic to get distorted vocals. And the effect he used to get that shuddering is a Zvek Tremolo Probe going though the mic.

I like Jack, esp with the Raconteurs. I wish he'd do more new stuff with them. Jack and Allison wasn't BAD but it wasn't Allison and Jamie. Dead Weather wasn't ground breaking like either of their original break through groups. Don't quitre know why but that's what it sounded like to me....It didn't add up to something more, it was something less, for both of them.
