Artist: The Quill

Album: Hooray! It's A Deathtrip

Year: 2003

Origin: Sweden

Lyrics:

I said hey, yeah my dawning of day

I said hey, anywhere I follow

Do you know my rivers overflown

Do you know, what really matters

Evil mind, my satisfaction a crime

Evil mind send me flame and fire

Till the end, yeah, time and again

Till the end, bring me dust not water

I travelled back in time to the morning of my life

I travelled back in time, I saw me pray

For American Powder

I said hey, yeah my dawning of day

I said hey, anywhere I follow

Till the end, yeah, time and again

Till the end, bring me dust not water

I travelled back in time to the morning of my life

I travelled back in time, I saw me pray

For American Powder

I am really surprised that this song doesn't get more attention, because it's actually a very catchy hit song. The singer has an amazingly powerful voice with great range, and the structure of the song is hit list material. I usually don't listen too much to hit songs though, but it's kind of embarrassing that the public haven't got their eyes open for this one. I guess it's maybe a little too rough and metal for mainstream ears... their loss, really.
