There are so many comments that make me believe that nobody understands the actual origins of pop punk.Jesus. It's garage rock and bubblegum pop combined whether you like it or not. I played drums on this album. Mostly live to two inch tape. NO PRO TOOLS. The vocals were done afterwards along with the guitar solos and such.

STOP YOUR BITCHING! The Queers ALWAYS made songs like this from the VERY beginning. Look up "fuck this world" and "True to you" and "Burger King Queen" and "Debra Jean". "Riot on heroin" isnt the ONLY kind of music they played/play. They ARE and ALWAYS HAVE been a bubble gum poppy punk band. They make fun punk rock and i for one love it WAY more than the angry hardcore punk.

it's funny they won't play any poppy stuff live. they've been recording stuff like this for years but they always play late 80's/early 90's hardcore stuff at their shows..like that stuff too but they have so many good songs like this

Whait... whait... So, everyone's here not knowing who really sang/wrote this song? God... Respecting all those who love this version, I'm gonna give my opinion and say... NO, JUST NO... The leading vocals here sound... dunno... so fake, maybe? You know, as if this was remixed on a computer and they weren't really singing together with their voices perfectly fitting... The original was, is, and will always be the best. I loved the electric guitar and the BS homage here though
