I really like this song. It borders on becoming brilliant. I heard it once or twice on an English language Quebec radio station, and that was it. I always remembered it, though. It is an extremely catchy tune. Great pop tune!

Looking back, a band like this could have only really succeeded in Canada. Too brainy for the US market, too "rock" for UK. One was clinging to the fading glory of hair metal, one absorbed largely in synth-driven pop. Kinda like Metric, in terms of how things panned out. It's a shame our tastes didn't seem to translate over cultural borders. Always loved the background vocals, too. Great songs, great sound, sincere and not over-produced, which was no small accomplishment in the 80s. Smart, catchy, and to the point. Like Canada's version of The Cars.
