I had lost interest after this album but was living in Calgary when they came for a tour. Thornography was their latest album and I have to say, they fucking killed it live. I might not enjoy their later stuff but I will not pass up a show.

COF started as a black metal band but quickly evolved into an extreme metal band same as Dimmu Borgir.. Both still fucking sweet ass bands!

this song is kind of a grandiose, Gothic fantasy, very vivid.

I personally like everything from this back...i am in no way a black metal head. COF even stated there not blackmetal. I listen to everything...if it sounds good its good. If not oh well..

Probably the best song of the album and likely a top 10 COF song. Love it!!!

This song defines death metal.

The thing is it doesn't matter what other people think. I never saw anything about what music is best to listen to when I was pondering the cosmos. I never saw anything about what music is best to listen to when someone gave me a helping hand, or I gave someone else a hand. I agree though. I think people often form their identities around groups like this, and music plays a large role in this at certain ages. I see people who cling to that mentality as being stuck in that immaturity.

Circa 2003: I'm in middle school. I fall asleep, listening to this cd. Gave me nightmares. I was changed when I awoke.
