@mrrmusician22 okay first of all i doubt you even know what an allusion is. Allusion. Not illusion. Allusion = referring to an outside object or story within a work. So by referring to the prodigal son, in turn, they are alluding to it, thus making it an allusion. try again? no its not obvious. that could mean anything about anyone. when was the last time you spoke to the band about the meaning of this song? oh yeah. never. stop being a stereotypical christian and get your head out of your ass.

@mrrmusician22 bands have titles that are irrelevant to the song, but relevant in their own way. and yes, im sure the band members are christian. but theres a big difference between a band where all the bands are christian, and a christian band. the lyrics dont have anything to do with religion other than "prodigal son." in which hes making an allusion to the character in the story. kind of like sleeping with sirens song, if im james dean youre audrey hepburn. the song makes an allusion to them.
