I have bought this album in the nineties and the way the PROPHET 5 was used reminds me of a DURAN DURAN SONG!

All babies togetherEv'ry one a seedHalf of us are satisfiedThe other half of us in needLove's bountiful in usTarnished by our greedOh, when will there be a harvest.. for the world?(Harvest for the world)A nations plantedSo concerned with gainAs the seasons come and go, we won't wait in vainFar too many, feelin' the strainOh, when will there be a harvest.. for the world?(Harvest for the world)(A harvest.. A harvest)(A harvest.. A harvest)(A harvest.. A harvest)(A harvest.. A harvest)(A harvest for the world)Dress me up for battleWhen all I want is peaceThose of us who pay the priceCome home with the leastAnd nation after nation, tuning into beastsOh, when will there be a harvest.. for the world?(Harvest for the world)When will there be.. a harvestWhen will there be.. a harvestWhen will there be.. a harvestWhen will there be.. a harvestWhen will there be.. a harvestWhen will there be.. a harvestWhen will there be.. a harvest...

Andy Taylor's mulhawk was so epic it should have had an album of it's own.

This arrangement is essentially "Bang A Gong" sideways but it's cool. Andy can't sing (he's consistently flat). Why didn't Robert just sing the whole thing?

That first album of theirs is kick-ass and one I always turn back to it when I need something with a little oomph but with some dance in my step. That I credit to the late, great Tony Thompson. This song in particular is great--surprised it wasn't released as a single.

I swear Power Station were just amazing, I never knew they did this cover...insane because I love the Isley Brothers version, this one was an awesome surprise.

Power Station, The Style Council (My ever Changing Moods).....it all brings back awesome memories from the mid 1980's. College, girls and more girls, traveling. It feels like it wasn't that long ago.

It is an old Isley Brothers Song from 1976, very tastefully done. I love this song.

The Power Station was a supergroup formed in New York in the mid 80's, following a period of inactivity of the band Duran Duran. It was founded in 1984 by John Taylor (bass) and Andy Taylor (guitar), both members of Duran Duran, singer Robert Palmer and drummer Tony Thompson, former member of the band Chic. Bernard Edwards (Chic integral) was the producer and worked as a manager for a short period.

I am pretty sure that the band has overwrote the music's position and the meaning of the band at the moment.

Great song, great band! It's from 1985, though, not 2002. I always love hearing this song. Thank you for posting it! Andy Taylor sings the background vocals with Robert Palmer.

For Ron Amescua:Duran Duran was not a boy band. They were a rock group just like the Beatles were.
