@Chrisdrumz: What's really amazing is the sound he got out of those Tama drums. In some recent article I read he said that his drums weren't even top-of-the-line Tama drums for the first two albums but one step up from the budget line! Well, the octobans weren't cheap but the other drums weren't "all that". Stewart Copeland could play a set of cardboard boxes and some trash can lids and it would be pure genius!

FACT: Stewart NEVER played the same song the same exact way. Aside from the basic structure, he performed every song a bit differently each night. He played by feel and feel alone. If he was tired he gave less,if he was pumped it would seem like his kit was going to simply collapse from all of the pressure he put on it. I myself play just like him,i'm just not even 1,000,000th the player he is!

I would like to thank all those that put these fun live videos up for mine and other's enjoyment...Wish I could contribute more than just opinions, but I really do not know how to..I feel selfish for not adding to how much I enjoy the live shows/songs of these great bands....Eltroim, you haven't said anything that I even disagree with, since the only thing you said was that I'm nuts...At 46, I feel like it bubba....Cheers to your passion. I love The Police also, and this is a kick butt song!!

Eltroim, yup. Maybe crazy, but not because I don't know what I'm talking about. I do not take offense. Would like to know who else you've seen. Genesis sounded amazing in '78, but shit until they started playing the art-rock stuff that they were known for pre '83 in abour '96. Rundgren sounded better 3 yrs previous shit arena. Roger Waters' Wall last December way better than '80s. Diff. equipment, but how do you expain Daniel Lanois giving U2 much more depth, chilly sound, 4 guys 3 yrs aft Sync?

@Eltroim Hey my friend, since I guarantee that we both are serious fans of those 3 amazing guys in that awesome band, and it's been difficult over the years to replace them with a few others that affect me more as my fav, I just thought that in the two tours I saw, Ghost in the Machine and Sychronicity, that the sound sucked. Only with about half the songs did the acoustics do them justice. Yes, I saw them in 4 diff places.. Curious if you are referring to the reunion thing, not back in the day
