Is it the best version of this classic Pogues song? No. Is it worth seeing the late, beautiful singer Kirsty MacColl perform it live with The Pogues? Absolutely. She complimented Shane's gruff vocals so perfectly and together they created a classic song. This is one of the greatest Christmas songs ever written. God Bless You Ms. MacColl wherever you are. Shane? Keep writing beautiful songs with piss and vinegar...you write the best ones.

I believe it's now legal to jab Gary Barlow in the head with a sharp fork after his slaughter of this great song.
