On this date in 1956 {Mar. 24th} "(You've Got) The Magic Touch" entered Billboard's Hot Top 100; eventually it would peaked at #3 & spent 20 weeks in the Top 100 Ranked 36th on the Billboard's Year-End Hot Top 50 Singles of 1956 chart. The 3rd in a string of 4 straight records by the Platters to make the Top 10; started with "Only You" {#5}, then "The Great Pretender" {#1}, then this one, and finally "My Prayer" {#1}. These four were also the first four records by the group to make the charts.
