On this day in 1956 {February 11th} the Platter's "I'm Just A Dancing Partner" entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart for a one week stayed at position #87... And on that very same day the group appeared on the NBC-TV program 'The Perry Como Show' and performed the record's A-side, "The Great Pretender", it peaked at #1 {for 2 weeks} and spent 24 weeks on the Top 100...
