so. i've let several days pass...biding my time...hoping someone thoughtful here in the states posted the obvious. why in the world can't venues in several of the major u.s. markets host this amazing band performing live?!i'm super disappointed the pineapple thief gets so little respect in america. to illustrate: thankfully, the steven wilson band managed to find a market here to perform the album of the year and concert of the year 'hand cannot erase' tour. i enjoyed the seattle and the portland shows laughing and weeping with thousands of like-minded folks.the pineapple thief, with magnolia, have earned equal treatment.the album generally and both 'breathe' and 'sense of fear' in particular demonstrate the creative powerhouse that is bruce soord and his entourage.net-net: america's music 'intelligentsia' should look each morning at their bathroom mirrors in shame for FAILING to bring this band to the states.for my and my beautiful wife's part: we'll just fly over to a show in europe and enjoy the bliss and power that is the pineapple thief.show bruce and his mates find their way to the states for a show in any city: i'm the guy holding sign with....'youtube post....drinks and dinner on us. heal the planet with beautiful music, dp.s. magnolia deserves your vote for album of the year or a tie with hand cannot erase!9 years ago
