this scene always gets to me.Shows the days of peace and laughter. And you can see in mary's eyes that she wanted to cry so bad because she knew that her son was going to be gone soon

This is the one scene that gives Jesus personality. You don't see this playful Jesus anywhere else in the movie. Even Mary is playful when she talks about the man eating standing up. Look how Caviezel (the actor) rolls his eyes *just a bit* when she tells him not to go inside all dirty. Now *that* is making a character relatable and likeable in a subtle and intelligent way. I wish all the flashbacks were like this one. Y'know, giving him everyday mannerisms, maybe even when doing amazing things. Or at least being *dialogues, and not just monologues,* c'mon! Jesus' best memories were of himself speaking?
