The Outlaws are a southern rock band formed in Tampa, Florida in 1972. Up until recently, Hughie Thomasson played in Lynyrd Skynyrd. Since he left Skynyrd, there have been rumors of an Outlaws reunion, based mainly on comments by Thomasson. The reunion is not a rumor anymore: The band is touring and they plan to release their new studio album called "Full Circle" in 2006.

I have searched for this song for years. It has to be one of my most favorite Songs, but only by this group. Phil Collins and all the others could never bring the feelings that this Group does

Hey Brian, I would really appreciate those prints - let me know your address and I'll send you postage in advance. I am not a hero worshiper by nature ( autographs ...never asked for one or wanted one for that matter...) , but reliving a moment in time ...priceless.

Hi Groove, yes we have some very good groups in Ireland but Irish country music is still popular, I can take in small doses. Caught the Blasters on Tube and loved the energy, also the Country Sisters. Nephew lives in California. U are so lucky to have so many great groups.

I may drive my wife crazy, but I play ONLY outlaws in my automobile ....got every byte of music (including Henry Paul Band..I consider them Outlaws music...) ever written (someone send me a link to Freddie Salem's band PLEASE...) by them, I THINK!... 10 live concerts, every one of them indelibly etched in my conscience...

I saw this band four times in different forms. The best was 1976 but Hughie was always an Outlaw even when he was playing for Skynrd. I always thought that this song was underrated and that the Outlaws belong in th Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
