This song is from the album, Love Fever, released in 1985. The O'Jays were one of the most popular Soul groups of the 1970s. Its members were Eddie Levert, Walter Williams and William Powell (who was replaced by Sammy Strain when Powell passed away in 1977). They were produced by the legendary songwriting team of Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, becoming the flagship artist of the Philadelphia International record label during the 1970s. Their hits include: 'For The Love Of Money', 'Backstabbers', 'Forever Mine, Unity, Give The People What They Want, I Love Music, Love Train and She Used To Be My Girl. Despite their world wide succes, however, their albums released during the 1980s and 1990s didnt fare well commercially, with their last songs that did well were, 'Dont Let Me Down' and 'Emotionally Yours' in 1991 and 'Somebody Else Will' in 1993. The O'jays continued to record albums in 1997, 2001, and 2004. Also during this period of time, there were constant turnover of the third member of the O'Jays to accompany LeVert, and Williams, but nevertheless, this group managed to retain that classic soulful sound that made them famous. The group has continued to perform to worldwide audiences and warm their hearts up to this day in the 2000s. In 2005, the O'Jays were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Now, could that be JZ's dad at 3.34? Jokes aside this is one of my favourites from my university days. Iedicate it to P, she gave me the strength to look beyond the lonely nights when she was not there.
