Music has power. It takes us back to times and places in our lives and helps us recall fragments of what it felt like to be the person you were then. The Cerulean album, and this song in particular, reminds me of a time when life was much easier for me – it was the 90s and I was a student at Central Michigan University and the world before me seemed one of infinite possibility. If I close my eyes and listen to this song, I can almost see it now like a door that opens before me to reveal open roads and sunsets …
