This brings back so many memories, I remember I played this song over and over thinking about this girl I really fell in love with. She had other personal issues and no matter how close and how much I told her that I was there for her, she was not able to be there for me. She chose to be with someone else and it hurt me so bad, I remember saying goodbye. I cried all night listening to Sea Of Green, all alone like a drowning man.

I think I read in the liner-notes to this song that it was recorded in the basement of one of their homes...I'm not sure whose, but it has some of the dreamiest guitars of any of their songs...
