Scott, it may seem like that, but we have a choice we have to make. God may know what happens, but its still up to us to make the choice. God is caring and loving to those who love him, but is not pleased with those who reject him, or his son Jesus Christ. As my Pastor once said, heaven is like a tree house. If you reject God's son from your club, then he will reject you from his. It is our decision whether or not we welcome Jesus Christ into our lives :)

But it doesn't say works add to salvation (not saying your saying that either). Works are the natural outcome of faith. Just like an apple tree produces apples, because it is in it's nature to do so; so a Christian is to do good works because it becomes their new (restored) nature through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Good works are the outcome of those who love Jesus Christ. Those who love Him obey His commands...not out of subservience but out of gratitude.

Why do there always have to be religious debates on music? Ok, they're Christian, that's well and good, but that doesn't mean you have to come on their songs and discuss Christianity, enjoy the damn music. I'm agnostic and I love these guys.

The bible says we are predestined, yes, predestined to be in heaven! its up to people to decide if they want to be there or not. and its not a select group or chosen few or anything like that as some denominations teach, but ALL! God created us with free will, and He won't violate that free will, even if that means someone goes to hell (which incidentally, wasn't even created for humans but for Lucifer and his angels that rebelled against God).

God already took the necessary action to reconcile us to Himself. that was the point of Jesus coming and living a sinless life, then dying for OUR sins and being raised back to life. God isn't cruel, He sent His Son to be the payment for our sin that we could never be. So if someone goes to hell now, it really is their choice. It grieves God that people would reject this free gift.

Who would want to serve a god that sends people to hell? Sure, ppl say that you choose where to go...but if "Christians" are correct, and we are predestined and that God knows who will be saved, then he knows who is going to hell. And there is nothing we can do to change that....sounds like a cruel God to me.

it's so sad to see people turn away from Jesus, and every time a see a comment that says hail satan, i picture them kneeling on the ground weeping before Jesus at the end of time. i really hope that someone gets to them before they go to hell :(
