I wish someone could have changed Steve's mind about suicide and begged him to stay. What a great loss. Still, he lived an incredible dream singing as a member of the Mighty Oaks. Great stars shine bright but burn out far too fast.16 years ago

I disagree. Steve Sanders sings it with much more emotion. Also, knowing how his personal life was unravelling at the time it is all the more a better version, obviously he drew from personal experience.16 years ago

I knew about John Berry doing this song first because I was fan of his music back then. Still am, butI didn't know the Oak sung this song until I saw the Oaks do a show on TNN called Video Session. I was shocked, but I like I both versions.16 years ago
