Thanks for posting this one....I have loved these guys since they first started playing in small bars in Toronto way back in the early 70"s??? It's hard to actually remember, but if I head they were playing somewhere I would go, as I heard them once and after I heard their up on a roof, they had me for life! I am still a fan over 40 years later...great voices, brings back so many memories!

I don't know if these four were the original Nylons but in my mind they are. I had the good fortune of seeing them (these four guys) three times live. I still think they are one of the most talented singing groups ever. I still listen to all of their old stuff over and over! I couldn't even begin to list all of my favourites as there are so many: Up on the Roof, Me and the Boys, Chain Gang....... Thanks for posting this video and for the memories!!!

I have mixed emotions, whenever I hear this song. Luv it, on one hand, because it reminds me of growing up, and takes me back to the days when my family was SO CLOSE, tight-knit, and bonded with each other. BUT on the other hand....it also tears my heart out, to hear it now. My mom died in 2009, and ever since then, our family's drifted apart, stopped talking, and we've all gone our separate ways. We're extremely fortunate, if we even SPEAK once a month now. Heartbreaking.
