The New World - The World I Used To Know (Original 45) video free download

Before they headed to the UK to find fame and fortune, 'The New World Trio'...later shorted to 'The New World'...had already made quite a name for themselves in their homeland.

The New World's first Australian hit, "Try To Remember", charted nationally in 1969...

...and, tucked away on the flipside was this excellent version of the Rod McKuen classic.

In Australia, the song is best known because of the 1964 national Top 10 version by Jimmie Rodgers...but, on this upload, the boys from Brisbane do an excellent job.

It was released in Australia in 1969 on a Parlophone 45, A-8589.

I have not uploaded the A. side because there are already several examples available on YouTube.
