Eve Graham had always been the main female lead. But I think once Lyn Paul got her chance she took the group on to a higher level as she looked great, she sounded great and in my opinion she had a bigger personality than Eve Graham.

Many thanks for posting! This is a truly lovely performance from Lyn (quite raunchy in the last verse). Both Lyn & Eve were (and are) great performers. It's a shame if this is all that survives from this edition of TOTP. It was shot in colour (an EMI2001 camera appears briefly in shot). The clip is probably from a 'Shibaden. It was half inch reel to reel videotape in a machine the size of a large suitcase (black & white). 1974 was four years before the early VHS. machines.

Eve Graham had a far better voice. More subtle. Lyn Paul sounds like a pub singer. And, yes, I know I'll be berated for saying this!
