Just heard this for the first time today. Listened to a cover done by The Mad Violinist and Tris Day. She had a beautiful voice and so i was curious about the original. Now I love the original but the auto tune here does nothing for the song. The reason he did it that way idk, but in my mind it is ( and he knows it /the band knows it ) because this song is about 3-4 more lines, inflections, something from being a bonifide HIT. If they could figure it out this band would be known worldwide and this video would be viewed 500 million times. Awesome song, but just so so close to perfection that i cant quite put my finger on what its missing. What do you guys think? Is it just missing that little umph to put it over the top?
