On the outside, Portal is a fun, witty puzzle game... if you delve into the backstory of it, it's actually quite dark and sad. I believe Rattman died in the cryo-chamber and it's his ghost that you hear mumbling in test chamber 3-17. I also think the companion cube GLaDOS leaves you at the end is the same one Rattman carried around (that you supposedly incinerated). It has also been speculated that the companion cubes are actually filled with dead bodies, so it's possible that cube contained the corpse of Rattman himself.

i played this when I was playing minecraft and it was night I had no house or any wool to make a bed. I had no shelter and no iron armour, iron sword, a bow, any weapon of any kind this was my first night so I wasn't as prepared as you would think I would so had to fight of a hoard of zombies,skeletons and a couple of creepers and a fought them for the whole time it was night, from dusk till dawn and once it was all over I survived with just 1 HEART left. no food, only stone swords...and no iron armour...

@TIWIH777 If you look at the art in the room where you find the radio you see the lyrics (and thereby the name). Searching the lyrics brings it up quickly enough, but I bet it was harder to find before. I'm betting Portal made this song ridiculously popular.
