i am a high strung person, well, at least sometimes. i just saying that this movie impacted me in 1: a way i didnt expect it to and 2:more than it would others who see it. and i know what u mean about how ppl think there issues are the biggest in the world (my friend would say something like "omg too many guys like me and i dont know who to choose, fml") thats not like me. im not petty. my issues are life changing to say the least. wondering if u could respect that...

Then based on your response, it would not be an overreaching statement to say that you are high strung at least. Not that it's entirely your fault. The world is an effed up place. Everybody is facing issues that they think are most important to them.

haha well im not gonna pull the whole "YOU DONT KNOW ME OR MY FIFE WTF DO YOU KNOW FUCK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!" thing. and i know perfectly well of the horror that occurs on a daily basis around the world. its just this movie REALLY hit home with me because im a huge tree hugger and am extremely inspired by the activists. but my life has been way more effed up then the movie ever was, so dont think i dont live in terror every day, thanks

Ok, maybe I said it a little harsher than I meant. Sorry. But I watched If A Tree Falls too, and I must say that as important as ecology is, there are a whole host of issues more important and pressing. If a documentary movie changed your life truly, then you haven't seen enough in your life to have good enough reason to be "shaken". I don't know enough about you to say that you're soft or anything like that, but the things of this world that you haven't seen would do more than unsettle you.
